I am with you today with a sleeping baby dragon amigurumi pattern. I want to share with you the crochet dragon amigurumi pattern designed by belle.essiecrochet. Although the designer did not specify the yarn brand used in making the toy, you can easily make the toy using cotton yarn. It is recommended that you use 3 different colors of yarn to crochet this dragon toy and you should choose a crochet hook that is suitable for the yarn you use.
Sleeping Dragon Crochet Pattern Step by Step
Only black yarn is used in making the eyes of the toy. This method was probably preferred so that the dragon would look like it was sleeping. Now if you are ready, let’s start.
Designer: belle.essiecrochet
Abbreviations used in this pattern:
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
Inc – increase by crocheting two stitches into the same stitch
dec – decrease by crocheting one stitch into the next two stitches
(number) – how many stitches are in each row
Tools needed:
Four different coloured balls of yarn
Crochet hook
Scissors
Darning needle
Polyester fill for stuffing
One Stitch marker
Tip 1: Fill with stuffing as you go (as needed)
Tip 2: As this pattern is crocheted in the round, place a stitch marker at the beginning of each row to remember where each row begins.
Tip 3: The dragon is created with a straight body and tail first, and then at the end the end of the tail is sewn to the bottom of the head to create its lovely curled up position.
Tip 4: As you are sewing on all the different body parts to the head and body, curl the dragon up to check that you are happy with the positions you are sewing everything.

That’s it!.
