Crochet Mandrake with Pot PDF Pattern Step by Step (2)

Today I will introduce you to the crocheted doll of the mandrake character that many of us have engraved in our memories with Harry Potter. Although the original toy is made with acrylic yarn, we see that velvet yarn is used in the test product. If you are going to change the yarn type of the toy, you should not forget that the size of the toy will also change. As you can see in classic mandrake designs, we see that there are 3 leaves on the top of the toy’s head.

Mandrake with Pot Amigurumi Free Pattern

The detail that makes the toy different is that it has a plant pot. You will also find details on how to make this flower pot in the pattern. The recommended crochet hook size for making the toy is 3mm.

Assembly

yayy almost done! be sure to take a break and have some water c:
Sew the leaves to the top of the head, sew one in the middle and two on either side in the middle.

For his arms, sew them rows 10-14 counting from the legs on both sides around 10-11 sts apart.

For his face, i got brown felt and cut two tiny circles and glued them inbetween rows 8-9 under the leaves, and a mouth the shape of half of a 0 and glued that right between the eyes.

For the details, get brown embroidery thread and embroider two lines two rows under the arms, make them different sizes and different rows apart to make it random.

Then tie a knot on the bottoms of both feet with embroidery thread on the magic ring, cut each to the desired length to make two little roots on each leg.

You finished your mandrake!
