Today, we will make a beginner-level bunny amigurumi toy. The crochet bunny is referred to as a chibi. First of all, I want to mention that there are two versions of the bunny. If you wish, you can make the toy in a speckled form. To do this, you need to crochet in accordance with the color transitions in the amigurumi pattern. If you want to use a single color, it’s enough to complete the steps using one color of yarn.

First, we will crochet the bunny’s body and head. If you’re going to make the toy using a single color, there is no need for color transitions, but if you’re using two colors, you need to follow the color changes shown in the chart below. The design is actually quite standard, but in the 12th round, you’ll need to form the toy’s legs. You’ve probably noticed that one of the bunny’s legs is made with brown yarn.

You can make the bunny’s ears using white yarn, or you can create them with an asymmetric color distribution. For this, it’s enough to make a color change at a round that works for you.

Sewing
The ears can be sewn between rounds 3 and 4.
