Blue Alien Amigurumi PDF Pattern That Looks Like Stitch (1)

I would like to introduce you to a crocheted alien doll made with shades of blue, shared for free by the designer to celebrate reaching 10,000 subscribers. The amigurumi toy resembles both a koala and the character Stitch. In particular, it shows many similarities with Stitch. These similarities appear in the toy’s color distribution, shades of blue, and especially its large ears. However, I can still say with confidence that it is a very original character.

Blue Alien Looks Like Stitch Crochet Pattern Step by Step

Recently, toys made with these kinds of soft and pastel colors have become very popular. If you also make your toys using such pastel tones, your creations might attract more attention. The materials you will need to make the toy are easy to find. Therefore, I would recommend using the same materials. I should also mention that the toys seen in the photos are test versions.

Ears

Make x2- in main body colour.
R1: ch7, starting in the 2nd chain from the hook: 2sc, 2hdc, sc, slst into the last ch. Cut the yarn leaving a tail for sewing.

Assembly

(Help shown right)
Sew the ears starting from R5, at the 1st main body colour stitch next to the face colour. Go into the side of the ear, then go into R4 of the head (upwards), and into the next ear st to attach. Secure tails inside the head to fasten off.

Vine In green

R1: ch60 (less if you prefer a shorter hanger), slst back into the first chain and tie the ends together a few times to secure. Cut the ends short.

Arms

In main body colour.
With Stitch on his side facing you, insert your hook into R8 (right on the decreases of the neck) and slst (shown pic A),

ch6, get your vine and place it under your chain (shown pic B),

slst 2 sts after your starting join on the same row to create the arms.

Legs

In main body colour.
You will now do similar for the legs, insert your hook into R12, ch8 (legs are slightly longer so it only tilts a small amount), place the vine under the chain again and slst 2 sts forward of the leg join.
Tie off and secure all tails and secure inside the body.

Now all theres left to do is sew on a nose on R6-7 by going over the same sts a few times.

You finished your Blue Alien charm!
