No Sew Keychain Miffy Bunny Free Crochet Pattern (2)

First of all, I should mention that this toy is designed as a keychain or bag ornament. Some small toys can be used as keychains, but the main purpose of this cute bunny is to be a keychain. We see that the bunny, which has a very durable design, has two big ears.

No Sew Keychain Miffy Bunny Amigurumi Pattern

The body of the toy has a very chubby structure and I can easily say that it is a toy that our beginner friends can make. Now, if you are ready, let’s crochet the bunny step by step. By the way, you can make the toy using a fuzzy yarn if you wish. This is already among the designer’s notes, but I honestly don’t like keychains made with fuzzy yarn.

You need to start with the ears of the bunny that you will crochet without doing any sewing. Now, let’s crochet the ears of the toy using white or brown yarn and make 2 ears.

Ears- make 2 (in white/ brown)

R1: 6sc in Mr/6sc in 2ch (6)
R2: 6inc (12)
R3-R10: 12sc (8 rounds)

After finishing the 1st ear, fasten off, do not sl st. After finishing the 2nd ear, do not fasten off. Instead, we will attach the 2nd ear to the 1st ear with 1 sc. This sc will already be counted when doing the next step.

After making these parts, we will continue with the head of the toy. After crocheting the head of the toy, the keychain bunny will be ready. However, you also need to make the eyes and nose of the bunny. It will be enough to use safety eyes for the eyes of the toy.

Head Continuation

R11: inc, (sc, inc) x5 around the 1st ear, (sc, inc) x6 around the 2nd ear (36)

R12: (5sc, inc) x6 (42)
R13-R19: 42sc (7 rounds)
R20: (5sc, dec) x6 (36)
R21: 36sc (1 round)
Insert the eyes between R17- R18, about 7-8 stitches apart.

Firmly stuff the ears and body.
R22: (sc, dec) x12 (24)
R23: 24sc (1 round)
R24: 12dec (1 round) R25: 6dec (1 round)

Sl st and fasten off. Leave a longer tail and sew the hole closed. Next, drag the yarn through the head, in between the ears, and sew closed the gap between the ears, and sew together about 3 rows of the ears.

Using black yarn, embroider a little nose in the shape of an X, between R5-R6 (the nose should be about 1 tall and 2 stitches wide-shown in the image above.).
Insert your keychain right behind the ears. If you are using yarn, do the same and tie it into a knot, then pull it through the body.

The bunny is finished.
